A senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Caucus, Sam Nkire, has urged President Bola Tinubu to reconcile with former Kano governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as part of preparations for the 2027 elections.

Nkire argued that rebuilding ties with Kwankwaso, who leads the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), could boost Tinubu’s chances at the polls. He stressed that dialogue between the APC and NNPP may open the door for Kwankwaso’s return to the ruling party.
