Governor Mohammed said the partnership fits within the wider diplomatic ties between President Xi Jinping of China and President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria. He described it as a step that will connect Bauchi more closely to the global economy, create jobs, improve skills, and raise the state’s profile on the international stage.

Zhensheng, who also chairs the China Global Promotion Cooperation Research Centre, pledged the Centre’s commitment to mobilising global resources for Bauchi’s economic growth. He said the goal is to support modern infrastructure, sustainable development, and better living standards for residents.
