Ekiti Grassroots Movement (EGM) has congratulated the newly constituted Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, charging them to imbibe the spirit of unison and genuine repositioning of the party within the purview of their tenure in office.

In a congratulatory message signed by its Director of Media, Mr. Adebisi Adeola today, the group said PDP was the only viable political party that can deliver dividends of democracy in Ekiti.

The group stresed that well meaning people of Ekiti were anxiously waiting to vote out the All Progresives Congress (APC) massively having failed woefully in governance.

“It is undisputable fact that the APC has no viable policy to better lives of a common man in Nigeria.
“They have failed in infrastructural development, economic policy, human capital development, employment, and security,” EGM said.
Appreciating the leadership of former governor of the state, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, the group charged party stalwarts and members to work with the ex governor to restructure the party ahead of subsequent elections.
“PDP needs a brave, committed and experienced leader who understands the nitty-gritty of politics in Nigeria.
“Once again, we congratulate the caretaker committee members and wish them success in their endeavours as they work collectively to promote party’s ideology,” EGM said.
