(PHOTO) BREAKING: Civil Defence Officer assaulted by Ekiti Dep. Gov, Bisi Egbeyemi hospitalised, phones of security aides seized
Sunday Olasekun, a Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) officer attached tovthe Ekiti State Government House, who was assauted today, by the State Deputy Governor, Chief Bisi Egbeyemi, has been hospitalised.
Olasekun, who was slapped severally by the enraged 75 year-old deputy governor was said to have developed complications in his left ear and had to be taken to a private hospital in Ado Ekiti for treatment.
The deputy governor, who was said to have acted under the influence of alcohol was allegedly wearing a ring when he slapped the NSCDC officer.

Olasekun was slapped, his riffle dragged his and his uniform jacked by the enraged deputy governor.
Meanwhile, inspite of denial by the deputy governor’s media aide, Odunayo Ogunmola, telephones of the officers in his convoy were seized “in order to find out the ways and manners the information of an incidents who happened within the government house early Sunday morning got to WazobiaReporters almost immediately.
As at the time of filing this report, it is not certain whether the seized phones had been returned to their owners or not.
