Popular Gospel Singer Passes Away

Nigerian gospel singer Toluwanisings has reportedly died, with the announcement prompting emotional reactions from public figures and colleagues.

Pelumi Olajengbesi, convener of the Coalition of Public Interests Lawyers and Advocates (COPA), announced the news on Instagram on Wednesday, expressing grief over the deaths of young Nigerians and appealing for God’s mercy.

Sharing the singer’s photograph, Olajengbesi said he was deeply troubled by the loss of young people and called for an end to untimely deaths.

Comedian Woli Agba also reacted to the development, urging people not to give up hope and saying they were still praying for a miracle.

Singer Boyebest responded to Woli Agba’s message by expressing faith that God could intervene.

The reports emerged about two hours after rumours of the singer’s death first circulated on social media.

However, the circumstances surrounding Toluwanisings’ reported death had not been disclosed as of the time of filing this report.
