Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has called on leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to welcome politicians returning to the party and avoid disagreements over positions and responsibilities.

Radda made the appeal on Friday at the Katsina Government House while receiving former Secretary to the State Government, Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, and members of his political structure from the 34 local government areas of the state.

The governor said previous political differences should not stop stakeholders from working together for peace and development in Katsina State. He urged party members to focus on cooperation rather than allowing disagreements to create fresh divisions.
Radda also appealed to APC local government chairmen, members of the State Executive Council and other party stakeholders to provide an environment where returning members could participate in party activities without unnecessary tension.

He said the returning politicians should be allowed to contribute their experience and networks to the development of the party and the state.
Inuwa, who previously served as SSG, said the political structure he led consisted of about 220 groups spread across Katsina State. He explained that the groups had maintained their grassroots presence while operating under different political platforms.
According to him, many members of the structure had now decided to support the Radda administration and return to the APC.
Former Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari described Inuwa’s return as an opportunity for political stakeholders to restore relationships and work collectively in the interest of the state.
The APC state chairman, Bishir Gambo Saulawa, also welcomed Inuwa and his supporters, saying their political experience and grassroots connections would add to the party’s existing structures across Katsina.
