The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has given candidates with outstanding admission offers from the 2020 to 2025 admission cycles until August 31, 2026, to accept or reject the offers.

The board said candidates who fail to take action before the deadline could risk losing their pending admission offers.

JAMB advised affected candidates to check their admission status and complete the necessary process through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Candidates who want to take up an admission offer are expected to accept it on the platform, while those who are no longer interested can reject the offer.

CAPS is JAMB’s online platform for managing admissions. It enables candidates to view offers made by tertiary institutions and indicate whether they accept or decline them.
The latest directive applies particularly to candidates from the 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 admission cycles who have yet to respond to admission offers on their profiles.
JAMB urged the affected candidates to act before the August 31 deadline rather than leave their admission status unresolved.
The board said taking action within the stipulated period would help candidates avoid possible forfeiture of the admission opportunities awaiting their decisions.
