The order followed a suit filed by the party after INEC failed to complete its registration process.

The court ruled that the commission should comply with the constitutional rights of the association and allow it to operate as a recognised political party.

The access code will enable the party to use INEC’s online portal for official activities, including the upload of candidates and other required documents for future elections.

The ruling is expected to strengthen ADA’s preparations ahead of the 2027 general election, while INEC is required to obey the court order within the time given.
