He made the remark while inaugurating the new interchange linking Jahi and Gwarinpa districts in Abuja.
Represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Tinubu said the project would ease traffic congestion, cut travel time and improve movement across key parts of the city.
He described road infrastructure as a tool for economic growth and development.
The President praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for extending development beyond the city centre.
He said residents were already seeing the impact of ongoing projects in both urban and satellite communities.
Wike said the administration had continued projects inherited from previous governments, describing it as proof that governance is a continuous process.
He also rejected claims that only roads were being built, pointing to recent water projects and other infrastructure initiatives across the FCT.
