The directive was issued as part of renewed security measures aimed at tackling rising concerns over armed robbery, theft and related offences in different parts of the capital city.
The police leadership said officers must step up visibility and response across their divisions.
The commissioner warned that failure to show measurable improvement within the set period would attract disciplinary action, stressing that residents expect stronger protection and quicker response from security agencies.
The command also urged residents to cooperate with the police by providing useful information that could assist ongoing operations and help restore order across affected communities.
