The results were announced on Sunday at the Bola Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja by former Senate President Pius Anyim, who served as the APC Presidential Primary Election Returning Officer.

Tinubu secured 10,999,967 votes, while Osifo polled 16,504 votes nationwide.

Tinubu recorded heavy support across the six geopolitical zones, dominating major APC strongholds in Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Rivers, Imo and Benue.

Osifo managed only small figures in a few states and failed to secure votes in several areas during the exercise.

Party officials described the outcome as a strong show of support for Tinubu’s leadership and policies.

The victory now clears the President to fly the APC flag in the 2027 presidential election as he seeks a second term in office.
