An aspirant in the ADC House of Representatives primary for Agaie/Lapai Federal Constituency in Niger State, Khalid Abubakar Gimba, has rejected the outcome of the exercise over alleged irregularities.

Gimba claimed electoral materials arrived late in Duma Zago Ward after supporters had waited all day to vote.

He also alleged that members of a rival camp approached his team with proposals to share votes without conducting an election, an arrangement he said he refused to accept.
His campaign team further alleged that some wards in Agaie never conducted voting because electoral officials failed to arrive with proper result sheets.
According to the campaign director-general, some officials reportedly came with exercise books and loose papers instead of official materials.
The aspirant urged the ADC national and state leadership to investigate the allegations and protect the integrity of the party’s internal process.
Despite the dispute, he reaffirmed his loyalty to the party and called for transparent primaries.
