The case has continued to attract attention because of the amount involved and the high-profile names linked to it.

The case is being handled in Abuja, where the court fixed a new date after proceedings on Friday.

The defendants are facing allegations connected to financial transactions amounting to billions of naira.

Details of the accusations are still being contested before the court as the trial moves forward.

The adjournment came as part of the ongoing judicial process to allow the matter continue properly before the court.

Lawyers involved in the case are expected to return on the new date for further hearing and presentation of arguments.

The court did not deliver any final ruling on Friday.
The development adds another chapter to one of the major financial crime cases currently before the Federal High Court.

Attention is now focused on the next hearing date, when proceedings are expected to resume in Abuja.
