NSCDC Assures FCT Residents Of Security

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has pledged to protect lives and property across the Federal Capital Territory.

Commandant Olusola Odumosu gave the assurance during Workers’ Day activities in Abuja.

He said officers remain fully deployed to safeguard residents and critical infrastructure.

He added that private security firms are being trained and monitored to support overall security efforts.

The commandant noted that effective security requires collaboration and adequate manpower.

He also said regular training programmes are ongoing to improve the performance of private guards across the territory.

Despite challenges like limited vehicles and communication gaps, he said the corps remains committed to its duties.

He called for more support to strengthen operations and improve response across the FCT.
