The ceremony took place at the High Court in Ibadan on Friday.
The oath was administered under the supervision of judicial officials, with the Chief Judge represented at the event.
The appointment followed Gbolarumi’s application made in 2024 and marks his entry into a legal certification role.
As a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, he described the appointment as a major milestone after a highly competitive selection process involving many legal practitioners across the country.
He pledged to carry out the duties with integrity, noting that the role requires honesty and strict impartiality when certifying and witnessing important documents.
Other newly sworn-in notaries also stressed the need for trust and accuracy in the profession.
