Power Supply To Improve Soon – Tinubu
In Abuja, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that electricity supply will improve after weeks of outages.
He spoke at the All Progressives Congress convention on Friday. The promise comes as many homes and businesses face unstable power.
The president said steps are being taken to fix the sector and boost supply. He revealed plans to add about 1,500 megawatts to the national grid through a new initiative.
The move is aimed at easing pressure on the system and improving distribution.
He also said his administration’s policies are beginning to show results despite public concerns.
Tinubu noted that the country is moving towards stability as reforms take shape. These include changes in fuel pricing and exchange rates.
While admitting the reforms are tough, he insisted they will bring long-term gains.
He pointed to rising investor interest and improved global standing as signs of progress. The government says ongoing efforts will support growth and better living conditions.
