In Ibadan, the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission has called for closer collaboration with the Independent National Electoral Commission ahead of the state’s local government elections.

Chairman Afees Adeniyi said the visit to INEC was to formally announce the election date, fixed for December 29, 2026, and seek support for a smooth process.
