The Delta State Police Command has arrested a community leader, Chief Omorede Sunday, along with four others over alleged sexual assaults during a local festival in Ozoro.

The arrests were confirmed on Friday in a statement by police spokesperson Bright Edafe after disturbing videos surfaced online.
The incident occurred in Oramudu quarters in Isoko North Local Government Area, where young women were reportedly attacked during the event.
The videos triggered outrage, prompting authorities to act swiftly and begin an investigation into what residents described as a frightening situation.
Police authorities said the footage raised serious concern, leading Aina Adesola to order an immediate probe.
The operation led to the arrest of the event organiser and other suspects, with the case now transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further action.
Investigators have been deployed to track down more individuals linked to the incident, while the police urged victims and witnesses to come forward with useful information.
The command assured the public that those involved will face justice, as efforts continue to restore calm and protect residents.
