Security Disrupts Kidnapping Attempt At School
Security operatives have foiled an attempted kidnapping at Government Girls’ College Bauchi, preventing a possible attack on students.
The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday, March 15, around 4am.
Reports from Zagazola Makama revealed that unidentified individuals tried to break into the school through a section of the perimeter fence near the staff quarters.
The attackers were unable to gain full access as security forces quickly responded and stopped the attempt. Their swift action helped avoid what could have turned into a major security breach.
Authorities are yet to release further details about the suspects, but the incident has raised fresh concerns about the safety of schools in the area.
