The committee commended the National Caretaker Working Committee led by Abdulrahman Mohammed for guiding the party during its transition.

It also welcomed the successful conduct of ward and local government congresses across the country and expressed confidence that the upcoming state congresses will be peaceful and transparent.

During the meeting, the party also approved the conduct of zonal congresses in the coming weeks and confirmed that preparations for the national convention scheduled for March 29 and 30 are already underway.

Leaders said the convention will produce a new National Working Committee in line with the party’s constitution.

The NEC also encouraged members involved in internal disputes to embrace reconciliation and avoid further court battles.

Party leaders further endorsed the expansion of electronic membership registration and asked stakeholders nationwide to follow the approved timetable for activities leading to the 2027 general elections.
