ADC Dismisses Crisis Claims In Kebbi
The African Democratic Congress in Kebbi State has rejected reports suggesting the party is facing internal division, insisting that its structure remains intact as preparations begin for the 2027 general elections.
The party made the clarification on Wednesday through its Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Musa, who described the reports of a crisis as false and misleading.
He said the claims were part of efforts by some political actors to weaken opposition parties in the state.
According to him, the developments within the state chapter are part of an internal restructuring process aimed at strengthening the party’s presence at ward and local government levels ahead of the next election cycle.
The party also announced the start of online membership registration and urged supporters to participate, stressing that only those with valid membership cards will be recognised as official members of the party.
