NNPC Raises Petrol Price

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has increased the pump price of petrol at its retail stations in Lagos and Abuja.

Checks on Wednesday showed the national oil company now sells petrol at ₦933 per litre in Lagos and ₦960 per litre in Abuja.

The new rates mark a jump from the previous prices of ₦830 per litre in Lagos and ₦875 per litre in Abuja.
This means motorists in Lagos now pay ₦103 more per litre, while those in Abuja pay ₦85 more.
The adjustment was observed at several NNPC retail outlets, including stations at Apple Junction and along Ago Palace Way in Lagos.
The price change adds to the rising cost of fuel across the country as Nigerians continue to face higher transportation and living expenses.
