Kaduna Govt Sends Strong Message To Property Owners
Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has stated that his administration will not tear down any building or take over any property without first paying fair and proper compensation.
He gave the assurance as concerns grow over urban development and land disputes in the state.
He explained that any structure affected by government projects would only be removed after due process is followed and owners are duly paid.
According to him, respect for property rights remains a key part of his government’s approach to development.
The governor made it known that progress must not come at the expense of citizens’ livelihoods.
He said every action taken by the state must balance public interest with justice for individuals.
His declaration comes amid past complaints about demolitions in parts of Kaduna.
He urged residents to remain calm, assuring them that his administration will act within the law and protect lawful property ownership.
