During the visit, he described the developments as presidential interventions designed to give the judiciary enough space to carry out its duties.

He began the inspection in Asokoro, where he admitted that difficult terrain had slowed progress but insisted the challenge would be resolved, stating, “I’ve seen the level of work, even though the topography is very bad. It’s a problem, but we’ll overcome it.”

From there, he moved to Jabi, where the foundation of a new court complex was laid in late 2025, before ending the tour in Garki.

The projects also include 40 housing units for judges serving in the FCT High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Federal High Court.

According to the minister, the initiative, backed by President Bola Tinubu, aims to provide “definitive accommodation” and strengthen the justice system, alongside road, school and health projects expected to be completed by mid-2026.
