The buyers accuse RevolutionPlus Construction and its executive director, Bamidele Onalaja, of fraud, fund diversion and abandoning the project despite promises of delivery and the involvement of the EFCC.

They say what began in 2019 as a secure investment has turned into a long-running dispute that has drained families financially and emotionally.


The subscribers say payments running into hundreds of millions were completed between 2019 and 2021, with delivery promised for December 2021.

They allege that instead of completing the Lekki estate, funds were diverted, while they were repeatedly asked to pay extra due to inflation, even as the site remained largely inactive.


Frustrated buyers took the matter to the EFCC in August 2024, hoping for accountability.

They claim that during the probe, officials encouraged further payments directly to the developer, leading to another transfer of over ₦45 million.

The buyers now fear the developer has relocated abroad and abandoned the project entirely.

They say some investors are repaying loans while buildings they paid for are deteriorating.
