Sunday Igboho Visits Olubadan
Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadanland to express gratitude following his removal from the Federal Government’s wanted list.
The visit, which drew attention across Ibadan, marked his first public appearance before a traditional ruler since the development.
Igboho explained that the visit was a gesture of appreciation to the Olubadan for his support and fatherly role during a difficult period.
The visit followed his recent clearance from the Federal Government’s wanted list, a move that signalled a shift in his legal standing. His removal from the list came after prolonged diplomatic and legal processes, including his arrest and detention abroad and subsequent return to Nigeria.
Supporters who accompanied Igboho said the visit showed a desire to move forward peacefully and reconnect with his roots.
The palace visit ended without incident, reinforcing calls from traditional leaders for calm, unity, and dialogue in addressing grievances in the South West.
