The session outlined a roadmap for academic growth, ethical leadership, and institutional resilience.
To strengthen financial sustainability, FUOYE plans to diversify revenue sources through endowments, alumni contributions, public-private partnerships, grants, and enterprise-based income, while keeping education accessible and affordable.

The retreat also acknowledged the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Fasina, for achievements in research, infrastructure, and institutional development, and welcomed Prof. Joshua Ogunwole as the incoming Vice-Chancellor, praising the smooth and transparent leadership transition.

FUOYE’s 25-year plan is designed to guide phased development, ensuring leadership continuity and effective implementation while positioning the university for long-term growth and global relevance.
