ADC Condemns Disruption In Borno

The African Democratic Congress has spoken out against the disruption of its party activities in Borno State, describing the incident as a violent attack on its internal processes.

The party said the inauguration of its Borno State Transitional Committee and Membership Registration Committees was carried out with full approval from the National Working Committee, with Mallam Kashim Imam named as chairman.
ADC explained that the exercise was lawful and followed party guidelines, stressing that those who disrupted the event acted without authority and against party rules.

The party condemned the actions of the individuals involved, warning that it would not allow its structures to be hijacked by people pursuing personal interests at the expense of unity and order.
ADC also called on the police and other security agencies to investigate the attacks on its members in Borno and ensure those responsible are held accountable, while restating its commitment to peaceful politics and internal democracy.
