The Lagos State Caucus of the All Progressives Congress in the United Kingdom has sworn in new executives to strengthen party activities in the diaspora.
The event took place on Sunday in Bromley, London, during the caucus’ end-of-year dinner.
The swearing-in was conducted by Ladi Cruz and brought together party leaders and members resident in the UK. Alhaja Gbemisola Ademola was inaugurated as Women Leader, while Alhaja Aolat Sule assumed office as Vice Chairwoman, Central.
Caucus chairman Tayo Shodeinde said the ceremony marked a fresh phase of unity and renewed commitment among members. He thanked party leaders and supporters for their loyalty and active involvement in building the APC diaspora structure.
Shodeinde also reaffirmed the caucus’ support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and praised the performance of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, noting steady development in the state.
He acknowledged the support of the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, for his contributions to the party and the caucus’ activities in the UK.
The event featured presentations on governance, diaspora participation, and party organisation, with speakers urging members to remain united, disciplined, and engaged in Nigeria’s political and development process.
