President Bola Tinubu is expected in Bauchi on Saturday for a condolence visit, prompting the state government to announce temporary road closures across parts of the capital.

The visit is to honour the late Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, as the President meets with his family and followers during the stop in the state.
The Bauchi State Government said several major routes leading to the cleric’s mosque and nearby strategic areas will be shut or diverted to control movement and ensure order.
