The All Progressives Congress has moved its National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings to new dates, adjusting its schedule for the first major gathering of top party leaders in over a year.

The meetings, earlier fixed for December 15 and 16, will now hold on December 18 and 19 in Abuja.

The change was announced in an official notice issued by the National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Basiru, and shared on his X page. The new timetable places the National Caucus meeting on December 18 at 6 p.m., while the NEC meeting will follow on December 19 at 3 p.m., both at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.

The notice confirmed that the invitation is extended to all members as outlined in the APC Constitution. The caucus includes top political figures such as the President, Vice President, former presidents, former vice presidents, current and past governors, and zonal representatives.
The NEC, which serves as the party’s highest decision-making body, brings together the national leadership, including the National Chairman, deputy chairmen, secretaries, treasurers, publicity executives, state chairmen, zonal officials, and members elected at the National Convention.
The adjustment comes only days after the party released the earlier dates. No reason was given for the rescheduling.
