Sources revealed that Achor was taken away on Wednesday night while live-streaming on TikTok, where he was criticising the lawmaker. Witnesses said armed officers believed to be from the Enugu State Police Command stormed his location during the broadcast and whisked him away.

Achor, from Item-Amagu Ikwo in Ikwo Local Government Area, had gained attention online for releasing several videos accusing Ogah of oppression, land grabbing, and intimidation of his constituents. In multiple emotional recordings, he alleged that residents had been subjected to violence and harassment under the lawmaker’s influence.

He claimed that several people had died mysteriously in the community and accused Ogah’s loyalists of attacking anyone who resisted his directives. Achor also alleged that the lawmaker seized community lands, imposed arbitrary rules on residents, and ordered youths to build multi-storey houses they could not afford.

Before his abduction, Achor said he had been receiving death threats but vowed not to remain silent. In his recent posts, he appealed for public attention, saying the state authorities had ignored the community’s cries for help.

Family members and community sources said all efforts to trace his whereabouts since Wednesday night had failed. They expressed concern that he might be detained secretly without access to legal aid or communication.

Attempts by journalists to reach the Enugu State Police Command for confirmation were unsuccessful, as calls to the command’s spokesperson, Daniel Ndukwe, went unanswered.

Achor’s disappearance has sparked outrage among social media users, who are demanding his immediate release and calling for an investigation into the alleged abuse of power by the lawmaker.
