First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has called on Nigerians to stop disparaging the country, saying global perception of Nigeria is shifting in a positive direction.

Speaking in Gombe during her visit to the Emir of Akko after commissioning the Federal Medical Centre, Kumo, Mrs. Tinubu said Nigeria is now seen as a land of opportunity and investment.

“Gone are the days when they say Nigeria is the most corrupt country. You won’t hear that. Even when I go abroad, when they hear you’re from Nigeria, everybody’s interested. They want to come to Nigeria. Nigeria is the next destination,” she said.
