He assured stakeholders that the new leadership would prioritise healing past divisions, strengthening internal democracy, and restoring confidence among members. According to him, inclusiveness, discipline, and transparency will guide the new executive team.

The chairman promised to engage both the founding fathers of the party and younger members, while also mobilising women ahead of future elections. He said the PDP would reposition itself as a viable alternative by offering constructive solutions and holding the ruling All Progressives Congress accountable.

Calling on members to close ranks, Aisida urged the party to put aside old disputes and work together to rebuild. He expressed confidence that the PDP, despite past setbacks, would rise again stronger and more united.
