The Oyo State Police Command has rolled out security plans ahead of the coronation of former governor Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, scheduled for Friday at Mapo Hall.

Police spokesperson Adewale Osifeso, in a statement on Thursday, said unauthorised processions and movements would not be allowed during the event. He explained that officers would conduct patrols, surveillance, and stop-and-search operations across Oyo State, with a focus on Ibadan’s entry and exit points, parks, train stations, and the Samuel Ladoke Akintola International Airport.
