Speaking after a leadership meeting in Kano, state PDP chairman Yusuf Ado Kibya criticised the recent endorsement of Tinubu by the Osun State government and PDP chapter, calling it unacceptable and not reflective of the party’s national direction.

Kibya said the Kano PDP remains united behind the party’s principles and would not entertain any form of internal sabotage or alliance with rival political platforms.

He also addressed the defection of some PDP members to form a coalition under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), saying the breakaway group does not represent the Kano PDP and poses no threat to the party’s strength.

According to him, “Only a few individuals have left. Their numbers are insignificant and cannot derail the PDP’s journey.”

Kibya urged party loyalists to remain committed, encouraging new members to register with the PDP, which he described as the only party capable of driving real change in Nigeria.
