A domestic dispute between two brothers in Mekiya, Gabasawa Local Government Area of Kano State, turned tragic on Friday night when their mother was accidentally killed while trying to intervene.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred at about 11:00 p.m. on April 4, 2025.

She sustained a severe head injury and was rushed to Gabasawa Hospital, where she was confirmed dead.
The body was released to her family for burial in accordance with Islamic rites. Police have since arrested the suspect, and an investigation is ongoing. (Zagazola)
