“I didn’t talk to Biden,” Mrs. Comperatore told the New York Post in an interview Monday. “I didn’t want to talk to him. My husband was a devout Republican and he would not have wanted me to talk to him.”

In an interview with the Post from her home in Sarver, Pennsylvania, she told the Post her husband’s last words as the shots rang out and while he used his body to shield his family were “get down!”

Mrs. Comperatore said that Mr. Biden’s telephone call was not wanted.

“I support Trump. That’s who I’m voting for, but I don’t have ill will towards Biden,” she said. “He didn’t do anything bad to my husband. A 20-year-old despicable kid did.”

She also told the Post that Mr. Trump has not tried to reach out to her and her two children.
