After hearing the case and the request for bail by the lawyer of the accused, the trial judge granted bail to Ayo with two guarantors who must worth more than 5 Millions with an original C of O that must be deposited with the court, and if the guarantor is a civil servant, he must be above the rank of a director.
Not less than 8 persons who met the conditions where available to bail the accused, after selections of two persons, who presented all that is required to bail the accused, including depositing with the court the original copy of their C of O, the Lawyer to the Taraba State Government, refused to accept the bail bond, insisting that the houses and land deposited must be valued.
