The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Publicity Secretary in Ido Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Mr. Seun Owoola, has said that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will fail in its attempt to recapture the State in the June 18 governorship election.

Owoola, who was speaking on Wednesday, during the Ayetoro Ward Two, Ido/Osi Local Government PDP Ward meeting boasted that the APC do not have anything with which it can convince the people of the State.

The former Councillor, representing Ayetoro Ward Two in In Ido/Osi Local Government Legislative Council said the people of Ekiti will not allow a repeat of the APC government of Dr. Kayode Fayemi, which has impoverished the people.

He advised the people of the state to cast their vote for the PDP governorship, noting that the party’s governorship and deputy governorship candidates, Hon. Bisi Kolawole and Mr Kolapo Kolade respectively are men of proven integrity.
“APC will not be allowed again to smell Oke Bareke government House. This is because Ekiti people have not even recovered from their ordeal in the hands of this same APC government at both federal and state levels.
“Ekiti people will not compensate APC for increasing a litre of petrol from N87 to N162, with scarcity biting so hard such that petrol us not selling officially at more than N250 per litre,” he said.
The former council chief said Ekiti people are still appreciative of the responsible government of Dr Ayodele Fayose and are sure that the duo of Bisi Kolawole and Kola Kolade will replicate the good governance that PDP is noted for.
