Efon-Alaaye Leaders and Stakeholders in the forthcoming Ekiti PDP State Congress has reaffirmed their support for their son and leading aspirant in the contest for the soul of Ekiti PDP, Otunba Bisi Kolawole.

The party stalwarts said they have supported Kolawole’s aspiration from day one but that the reaffirmation became necessary so voters across the state are again intimated about the fact that Otunba Bisi Kolawole’s home-base support is Total.

The Stakeholders made their position known at a meeting held at Efon Town Hall on Monday.

The meeting which had in attendance adopted candidates from the 10 Wards of Efon for all positions in Saturday’s Ward Congress concluded that Efon PDP will accept no position lower than that of the State Party Chairman in the State Congress that will come up in April, 2020.
The gathering also endorsed Aare Yemi Ajanaku as the Efon Alaaye Local Government PDP Chairmanship Candidate in the LG Congress slated for March 27th.

Speaking with newsmen after the endorsements, leader of PDP in Efon Alaaye, Chief Idowu Akinyele(Ologbo) said “Efon PDP has unanimously agreed to support and vote Bisi Kolawole and Yemi Ajanaku 100% in the forthcoming State and Local Government Congresses respectively.
“As you can see, our people have unanimously rejected the zoning from any PDP group, any position lower than that of the Party Chairman.
“This is the first time our local government will be so favoured to produce the State Party Chairman and the people are saying they will not trade it for anything in the world”, Akinyele said.
Reacting to the reaffirmation of his endorsement, Hon. Bisi Kolawole thanked the entire people of Efon Alaaye LG for the show of love stressing that he will never let them down with the enormous confidence reposed in him to lead Ekiti PDP back to Power in 2022.
