Buhari appoints dead Senator, Francis Okpozo as Chairman, Nigerian Press Council, two other dead men into boards
President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed a dead Senator, Francis Okpozo as Chairman, Nigerian Press Council (NPC).
Francis Okpozo, a Second Republic Senator, died on Monday, December 26, 2016 in Benin City, the Edo State capital after a brief illness at the age of 81 years.
Interestingly, the presidency issued press statement, mourning Senator Okpozo when he died last year.
Also, Reverend Father Utov, who died on March 18 this year was appointed by President Buhari as a member of the Nigeria Institute of Social and Economic Research.
Reverend Father Utov, was the founder and proprietor of FIDEI Polytechnic, Gboko, Benue State.
Another dead man, DIG Donald Ugaja appointed Board Member Consumer Protection Council (CPC).
