Breaking News: Twin bomb blasts hit University of Maiduguri, many feared dead

Score feared dead when twin explosions woke up Maiduguri residents on Monday.

The first occurred at University of Maiduguri during early congregational prayer.

The early morning bomb attack which occurred at JS mosque near the staff quarters was carried out by a 7 year old suicide bomber.

The bomber it was learnt killed a Director of Vetenary medicine, Prof. Aliyu Mani, and four others, while another 15 persons are said to be injured.

Earlier, the Borno state police spokesman Victor Isuku confirmed to journalists the early morning explosion at the University of Maiduguri.

He noted that the blast happened during early morning prayers by Muslim faithful.
