According to the statement, the alleged attack occurred on Wednesday at the Ibadan North Local Government Secretariat, where the victims, identified as Abiola Abulesowo and Abanise Olanrewaju, were reportedly assaulted by suspected APM supporters.

The senator, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, further alleged that APM supporters had been attacking APC members across the state in recent weeks.

Describing the incident as unfortunate, Alli called on the APM governorship candidate, Bimbo Adekanmbi, to caution his supporters against further attacks on members of the ruling party.

He urged Adekanmbi to intervene to prevent a recurrence of the alleged violence, particularly following the reported assault on the two APC members at the local government secretariat.

The allegations were contained in a statement issued by Alli’s campaign organisation. No response from the APM or Adekanmbi was included in the report.
