Tinubu Clarifies Seyi Tinubu’s Political Ambition

President Bola Tinubu has praised his son, Seyi Tinubu, for mobilising young Nigerians through the City Boys Movement to support his political cause ahead of his re-election bid.

The President spoke during the inauguration of the movement in Abuja, where he addressed questions about his son’s political activities and possible ambitions.

Tinubu said he had received several calls in recent weeks from people seeking to know which political office Seyi intended to contest.

He explained that he had told those who contacted him that his son was pursuing his father’s political cause rather than seeking a personal political position.

According to the President, Seyi had taken the initiative to engage young people within his age group, listen to their concerns and organise them without demanding a political title or government appointment.

Tinubu commended his son for the approach, saying he was proud of his efforts and those of the young people involved in the movement.

He noted that Seyi had focused on building relationships with young Nigerians and organising them around a political cause without seeking personal recognition or an official position.
