The organisations said leadership change in Nigeria must follow constitutional procedures and not public campaigns.

The groups argued that elected leaders can only be removed through recognised democratic processes.

They maintained that voters, not political pressure, should decide the future of any administration through elections.

They also defended the Tinubu government, pointing to ongoing reforms in security, education, infrastructure, power supply and public finance.

According to them, several programmes and projects are already being implemented across the country.

While admitting that many Nigerians are facing economic difficulties, the groups said the next opportunity to assess the administration will be the 2027 general election.

They urged opposition figures to pursue political change through democratic institutions and constitutional means.
