The President is scheduled to start with the second phase of the Outer Southern Expressway, which the minister said has been fully completed.

The programme will continue with the inauguration of Arterial Road N5 in Life Camp on Wednesday and the newly expanded Airport-Kuje Road on Thursday, all aimed at improving movement and connectivity within the territory.

Wike said the projects were delivered within the planned timeframe through the support of President Tinubu and the commitment of contractors handling the works.

He added that the commissioning exercise would also extend to the area councils, where the President is expected to unveil development projects designed to improve the lives of residents in rural communities.

The minister also addressed concerns over the delay in opening newly completed bus terminals.

According to him, the facilities are undergoing the required concession process under a public-private partnership arrangement, while the operator puts the necessary buses and taxis in place before commercial operations begin.
