I’ve Delivered 90% Of My Promises – Governor Yusuf
Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has said his administration has delivered about 90 per cent of the promises made to residents since taking office three years ago.
He made the remark on Saturday while hosting Muhammad Isa Umaru during a Sallah visit at the Government House in Kano.
The governor said his government had recorded progress in education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, water supply, youth empowerment and economic growth.
According to him, the projects were designed to improve living conditions and drive long-term development across the state.
Yusuf stated that work would continue on the remaining commitments before the end of his tenure.
He also assured residents of the Rano Emirate that projects such as the expansion of the Karfi–Rano Road, subsidised fertiliser distribution and the renovation of the Emir’s Palace would receive attention.
The Emir of Rano praised the administration for ongoing development projects, including road construction, water schemes and improvements in the health and education sectors.
He also pledged the continued support of the emirate for programmes aimed at promoting peace and development in Kano State.
