The council also raised concerns about voter revalidation plans and worsening insecurity in parts of the country.

The warning comes amid fears that recent actions in the electoral space could weaken public trust and put pressure on political institutions.

IPAC said developments around party leadership issues and election processes may affect how Nigerians engage in the democratic system.

On the ADC matter, the council cautioned INEC against moves that could deepen tension or create confusion.

It also questioned the timing of the planned nationwide voter revalidation exercise, noting that it may clash with other political activities and limit participation if not properly handled.

IPAC further condemned the continued killings in Plateau State, describing them as a threat to national unity.

The council said a stable democracy depends on credible elections, strong institutions, and a secure environment for citizens.
