Tinubu Arrives At Jos On Condolence Visit
Bola Tinubu has arrived in Jos on a condolence visit after recent attacks in Angwan Rukuba that left at least 27 people dead.
The visit follows growing concern over the violence that shook parts of the state.
The President was received by Caleb Mutfwang, Nentawe Yilwatda, and other officials.
His trip comes days after he condemned the killings in both Jos and Kahir village in Kaduna State.
Through his spokesman Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu had described the attacks as “barbaric and cowardly” and warned that those responsible would face justice.
He also praised local efforts to restore calm and directed security agencies to step up operations.
The President further advised the media to avoid framing the violence along religious lines, warning that such reports could worsen tensions. Authorities say more updates will follow as the situation develops.
